Wow, it has been forever since I updated this thing. I always had the intention to, but I have been busy most of the time and extremely lazy the rest. I got good stuff to update with though, seniors outing pics.

* Disclaimer* At the request of Liz Beech, her hands have been blurred in EVERY picture to prevent her fingerprints from being replicated and her identity stolen.

>> Random pics of Lit Mag

>> Bowling, Lucy being crazy and Janelle trying new hair styles

>> ice skating was a blast. Liz starred doing all these stunts while I was getting used to skates 2 sizes bigger than usual...

Day 1

So after leaving a little later than we thought, Francis, Liz, Ryan and I were on our roadtrip to St. Louis. We were only going to be gone for a few days, but Ryan came prepared so we wouldn't be disconnected from the world.

And just to be on the safe side, we brought a laptop from school. So now half of Francis' trunk was occupied and we shoved and pushed our bags until the door closed. Our real savior was not the pc though, but the GPS (also brought by Ryan, lol). If it wasn't for it we would probably still be driving around in circles in the Chouteux detour.

I have no idea what exactly happened here, but whatever it was, it caused a hell of alot of traffic.

We had some trouble with the GPS. I don't remember where, but it ended up leading us to Mexico.

So we get back on route and end up arriving at our hotel. The place looked... interesting and we soon found out why: it used to be a hospital, so all the big doors, lobbies and strange restrooms didn't look out of place anymore. The best thing about the room though, is that it had an ethernet jack on a lamp... needless to say, since we are all nerds, we hailed it as the best thing since sliced bread.

After unpacking and connecting the pc to the internet via a lamp, we went back down to familiarize ourselves with St. Louis.

... Maybe I should photoshop a halo to complete the picture

TGI Friday;s, w00t

We ended up going back to the hotel at like 2am and didn't go to sleep till 3... actually, Ryan did go to sleep as soon as we got back... what a bad idea that was... lol! I suddenly wake up at 4:30am and hear Ryan... sleeping.. yeah, thats it. Francis is next to him trying to set up the alarm clock and then all of the sudden Liz jumps up screaming "water! water!"  "The hell?" I say, and start laughing. Liz, still asleep yells at me "ssh!! stop laughing." wtf? lol! talking in her sleep.

Day 2

So anways, now it was time to actually do what we came to do at St. Louis. We first visited Washington University, which rocked by the way.

it was a little bit chilly in the morning

yup, thats how you can tell you are at a university bookstore.

for Joel, lol.

crap, I moved the camera. Anyways, that is THE Jane Austen action figure

No idea what it is, but it looked kinda cool, specially with the lighting effects.

So now we were on our way to St. Louis University. When we walked through the main etrance it wasn't what we were expecting...

lol, thats great. Here is the real thing:

ha, here is me messing around with lighting

So then we headed for the arch, the massive gate that welcomes you to the midwest

cool exhibits in the arch's inner lobby. Then we went back out and just walked around looking for a place to eat.

you are in true downtown when you steam flows out of a manhole.

So then Liz wanted to go eat at hooters (lol, jk), and we did. "Anything else?" our waitress asked as we finished our meal. Hell yeah, I thought. So I asked her if we could take a picture.

After dinner we went to Six Flags

Day 3

Once again we went to sleep at 2 or 3 in the morning, only to wake up at 7. We were all getting ready while Liz was still procrastinating.

and here is Metcalf giving thumbs up as we leave St. Louis

Homecoming was amazing! not only was dinner at Hereford House a total blast (specially when there was a "spider under the table") but  I learned how to dance halfway decently (sorry for stepping on your toes that one time, Jenelle. lol).

We all had lots of fun, but the highlight of the night was probably Nick's INSANE screaming. Dear God, he probably lost his voice by now. Click here to see a quick movie of it.

And now for the best part, pictures!

(the guy at Hereford house didn't take these right, so they are kinda blurry)

*check out the hair. Thats a cool picture

*go Kyle!

So here I am, trying to put the darn accent marks on of a french paper when all of the sudden I am handcuffed. Surprise! it is western spirit day! Not real handcuffs though, I could have easily taken them off, but I decided to leave them on for the entire french 5 period to try and be "funny." Well, now I have marks around my wrists as if I engaged in cutting. lol.

The Litmag web-site is *finally* done. Design only took about a week to do but it was the programming that took days upon days...  working with variables, functions, events and all the other programming junk is extremely time consuming. Never the less, the web-site turned out really tight. I'll post a link to it when it is up and running on the web.
